This is a WAS that a made into a floor ped. I had the guys at HQ pour me the form without a backboard. Then cut some wedges from the shoulders of an extra form and with Bondo attached them to the back of the form to get the cupped shape and length of the shoulders I wanted. I then made cardboard dams and poured foam to bond it all together, then just rasped it to the final shape I was looking.

You can take a piece of masonite or other thin material similar to what a peg board is made of, without the holes, and trace out the shape of the back of form on it. Cut the piece out, and find the center on the form and the material you just cut out in shape of a new thin backboard, and screw it into the center of the backboard. Now you can place wedges of foam or anything that will seperate the new thin backboard from the form along the edges to give you the desired pedestal look you want. Then mix up some foam and pour it in between. Once the foam cures you can remove the one screw, and sand down the foam to blend into the manikin. You will have a pedestal form with back that is smooth enough to accept any material you may want to glue to it. If you put the finish or shiny side out on the masonite, You can sand it down or rough it up a bit so the glue will grab better. I use a light coat of hide paste and a small roller to smooth out the material to finish it off. Not sure if I explained this good enough to follow, but that’s another option.
