OfflineWhat a great show! I feel like the association as a whole, suppliers, judges, UTA maid it all possible. A BIG thank you to all that attended and congratulations to all who participated in the competition. Hope everyone will be back next year. On a less serious note Page, we still maid more money than who ever sent the mystery donation box that we did not keep.

OfflineI just want to start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed the 2013 show! Not only did I attend some awesome seminars, but I also made a lot of new friendships. I learned a tremendous amount in Gene Smith’s, Brenda Duvall’s, and Steve Tugwell’s classes. They are so talented! I can’t wait to use what I learned. Thank ya’ll.
Last year in 2012, I took a whitetail class with Herman Parker. Afterwards, he suggested that I attend the 2012 show. So I went, joined, but didn’t compete. But I did fall in love with it.
This year I competed in the professional category for whitetail gameheads. I did it for the learning experience. And believe me. ..I learned alot! I even named my mount “Tuffy”, for all of the tough lessons I encountered. So I want to say “thank you” to Herman for inviting me into the NCTA.
I also want to thank ALL of the other members in the NCTA. The reason being one thing…not one single person ever gave me the “cold shoulder”, making me AND my daughter feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Everyone offered to share their knowledge and secrets. So THANKS to everyone!
The UTA, vendors, competitors, food, and atmosphere were top notch. The facility was great…hopefully though, the “ordeal” at the banquet was a one time thing.
But as I stated earlier, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will be back. Congratulations to all that placed, and to all that recieved awards.
Take a kid hunting and fishing.
