I killed the biggest deer of my life last year with a bow (183-7/8) I shot it rite at sunset and opted to wait till morn to retrieve it just to make sure all was well..upon return and recovery the next morning coyotes had destroyed the hide including cape area so i cut deers head off about 6″below base of skull and put it in my deepfreeze until could get another cape..my deepfreeze in garage got unplugged this june for unknown amount of days and didnt find out till smelled deer reaking so just plugged freezerback in now i am wantn to get hide meat ect off the head so can display until get a new cape but is too nasty to handle. What can I do to get it clean??

Your making this sound worst than it is. You say it is frozen. All you need to mount is the skull cap. While FROZEN cut out the rack. Throw out the rest. Pluck out brain. All you have left is a small section of hide to remove once thawed out. Minimal amount of material minimal smell.
