OfflineI think I just had a pretty severe allergic reaction to a moose head, mounted in my office. I do have allergies and have had allergic reactions to cats and horses in the past. I have no problem believing that might be allergic to a live moose.
But this moose has been dead for at least 15 years.
It is just a coincidence? Have any of you ever heard of someone having an allergic reaction to a taxidermy-ed animal before?
Use your vacuum with the soft brush attached. This will remove the dust out of it. Pull the brush with the hair patterns. Use a feather duster on the eyes and nose. Then wipe the eyes with a q-tip and windex or alcohol. You can then wipe the hair down with a water damp washcloth to add a little luster to it. Or you can purchase a hair cleaner/shiner from your local farmanimal supplier, like tractor supply. Kids use it on their 4-H animals to make them shiny for the competitions.
