This is my very first mount that I’ve taken from frozen whole, all the way to mount! It is also my first prey item. So if it looks dead, that’s because it is supposed to look dead. I’ll put it in a fox mouth later. I think the tan worked, it was white, felt like leather and there was no slip. I sculpted the head from Sculpty using the skull as a ref, then used critter clay for the eyes, muzzle, cheeks ect. Clay in the legs, stuffing in the body. Didn’t stuff it too much, wanted to give that ‘air out of lungs and lax muscles’ look.
