johnston county is having there 2013 art comp.and festiville in Smithfield soon i was thinking it would be good to have taxidermy stuff there to show off the art of the taxidermy industry , i was informed today that taxidermy was not considered Art,
Here is the responce i got QUOTE

(Taxidermy wouldn’t be part of that. Muxed media is art that has more than one type of materials used like paint, paper and yarn. Things like that. Sorry! You ought to go though. Lots of food from lots of restaurants)

after a answer like that this is more reason we need to be involved they are not educated in what we do

Evidently their not well versed in all expressions of artistic ability . Sculpting has been around since the beginning of time .
