No matter how much bench space I have I always seem to come up short where I need just a little more for a short period of time. I found a what I think is a reasonable solution.
I picked up this table from someplace a long time ago and have not used it in years. I took the legs off and mounted it on hinges onto a bench.

The 2 x 4’s are props to hold the table up when I am using the extra space.

When you are done put the table back down! Obviously you wouldn’t want this table to be in front of anything you needed on a daily basis. The hassle of having to put the table up and down would prove to be a pain in the rear end after awhile. Carriage bolts are used on the top of the table mounted to 2 x 4′ underneath to prevent damage to skins as they slide around on the table top.
The table is plastic so it is easy to clean with soap and water. Just sharing one of my crazy ideas! It works for me.
Here’s to hoping everyone is having their freezers filled this hunting season.
