Hello all,
Want to get everyone’s thoughts and opinions. Thinking about becoming a taxidermist. Any thoughts about doing this as a business? Any thoughts about going to a taxidermy school? Thank you in advance.
Hello and welcome! The very first thing I would do is join your state association if you are wanting to learn to start a business or just do taxidermy as a hobby. For you, I assume that would be Wyoming Association of Taxidermy Artists. I would attend the convention in April. WATA Home Page
I would also be cautious about going to a taxidermy school, there are many reputable schools but there are also some that you would want to stay away from.
Also it would be a great idea to join the NTA National Taxidermists Association | Welcome to the National Taxidermists Association
