What are your thoughts on this? Any experience with it?

They have a full page ad in the latest edition of Breakthrough. It is listed on page 51 of the Spring 2015 issue. It sounds like Larry Bloomquist may be endorsing this option (see page 82 of the same edition). It is followed by an article written by company.
In theory they make it sound great. However, it sounds to me like they are tapping into people that can’t afford taxidermy because they are maxed out on their charge cards more than anything (but that is my interpretation). The web site has no real information on it other than a sales pitch about how wonderful the program is. I think it is deceptive. They claim there is no interest since it is a lease. No finance company is going to loan money with there being interest attached to it. Anyone with decent credit could simply get another credit card to finance their purchase and do the same thing this company is doing. It just may require a bit more discipline to make more than the minimum payment, and my guess is, at a lower interest rate.
However, if your client has poor credit and this is their only avenue, and the finance company lives up to their end of paying the 50% up front, and you collect the other 50% when it is done (and it is in your bank account before the mount leaves the shop) I guess it could work.
For thought, lets say you finance $1000.00 for one year and you pay $140.00 in interest. This sounds like 14%, right? It isn’t! This is what they call a “14 add on.” The real interest rate is about 24.94%. You don’t want your clients pissed at you for what you think is you are trying to help them.
