So your saying you never learned one thing from someone else’s critique.
Thats the first time ive heard that!

Hackleback, I never said anything about not learning from someone else getting a critique. I am simply saying I learn a lot more if they are critiquing a piece that I mounted myself instead of listening to a critique on a piece someone else mounted.

It doesn’t matter how many deer heads you look at, how many seminars you take, or how many critiques you listen to, UNTIL you have YOUR deer critiqued, you’ll never know if you’re doing it right! You can learn all the tricks that are out there, but that doesn’t mean you’re applying them correctly. It takes someone with more knowledge than yourself to point them out to you.
