I live in Tennessee but I am going to the North Carolina show this year. I have only ever been to one show in the past and that was in 2000 to the Tennessee show. I am glad NC decided to have their show early. If it had been one week later like it usually is, I could not attend. I am a teacher and school was always in session so they never matched up with my schedule in the past. (Yes, believe it or not, in my school teachers start back on 29 July. Whatever happens to having a summer break?!!)
I hope to meet a lot of folks, make new friends and take in as many seminars as I can and enjoy my last free weekend of the summer.
Oh, and my daughter who has been doing a bit of taxidermy since she was nine years old (now twenty-four) is coming with me. Like me, she is only a hobbyist but you never can tell where this may lead in the future.
See you there.
Vic
Yes, I was at your seminar D. I was the one asking about the nose skinning. I really enjoyed seeing you in action with the whole process of skinning, turning, fleshing and shaving.
And it was my daughter that lost her camera, and no, she did not find it. I guess she learned a lesson about securing things.
It was good to meet you.
Vic
