The WVTA 26th Annual Convention and Competition is now in the books. WVTA would like to thank everyone that attended. What a “Great” group of folks we had at our show !!!
The officers and board wish to thank all our judges and seminar instructors for an excellent job. Vincent Fleming…Terry Weick…Paul Cales…Page Nethercut…Kent Stryker and Ella Haddix provided educational benefits to help improve the skill levels in many aspects of the trade.
Our vendors were a tremendous asset to our show and provided the membership with money saving benefits from discounts on supplies and services, delivery of pre-show orders of supplies and pick up of salt dried skins for tanning. We had 30 vendors covering nearly every aspect of our trade.
I want to personally thank the officers and board members that worked so hard to make this show go off without any major problems. Without their help there is no way we can provide the benefits to our membership they deserve.
I would also like to welcome aboard two new Board of Directors members. Mr. Bob Warner and Mr. Vince Spellane. There is no doubt in my mind these two guys will be a tremendous asset to WVTA and will help improve our future shows.
We had a great Banquet, Auction and Awards Ceremony. Our auction was certainly lengthy but we work very hard getting donations from 50 to 60 trade related companies to allow our membership to have the opportunity to purchase supplies, services and materials at many times up to 50% off with no “shipping” cost and this provides the WVTA with the revenue to continue to have great shows like the one we just completed. So with that said….please bear with us… :biggergrin: .
Again…”Thank You All” for being a part of our association here in “Wild & Wonderful West Virginia” !!!!
