The New England Association of Taxidermists (N.E.A.T) has scheduled another 1-day, low pressure, information packed, ask all you want, HANDS-ON workshop amongst friends!!
Pete Lajoie of http://www.gameheadsltd.com will show you how to set eyes, drill out a nose and install a septum on a whitetail. Each person who attends will receive a change out head, eyes and septum.(Thank you McKenzie Supply)
Participants are asked to please bring the following:
Dremel ( Special bit that Pete uses may be provided) Please bring some smaller bits if you have them.
Apoxie Sculpt (Eyes will be set with this so when dry you can use as reference)
Critter Clay (For practice eye sets.)
Small Detail files
Extension Cord and power strip if available
Flashlight
Small level
Small brush and modeling tool
Glue Gun
Small Hand saw
Lunch will be provided from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm
The cost of the workshop event is $135 and includes lunch, and get this, a 1-year membership to the Fastest Growing, Family Oriented, Member friendly, Taxidermy and Wildlife Art Association – The NEAT! The price for current, 2011-2012 N.E.A.T members is $100.
