The 2013 Surry Show|Shows, Events and Competitions|Forum|Taxidermy Talk

First off I would like to thank everyone on here that is kind enough to share their wisdom with beginners like me. I just finished taxidermy school this month and attened the Surry show. I had a blast, took in as many classes as I could, and took ten pages of notes from those classes. I enjoyed meeting guys like Mr. Price, Archie Phillips, Perry Stout, Mr. Nethercutt and many others. All were glad to answer any questions I had and were very helpful.
I am greatful for events like these that offer many different learning aspects of the business for people who want to excell in taxidermy as I do. I look forward to being able to attend future shows to learn and compete. And hope that other shows like Surry have it where you can spend time with the vendors. So you can get to know the people we spend our money with and get a chance to pick their brains. I’m hoping to attend the NCTA show coming up.
So thanks again guys for all your help, and I look forward to seeing all of you at another show and at Surry in 2014.
