WVTA will be holding our first “Speed Deer Contest” during our 26th Annual Convention and Competition in Flatwoods,WV April 12-15 2012. The rules for the contest are simple and are as follows:
1. 2 hour time period.
2. All normal preparation work can be done. (Skin, Mannikin, Antlers and Ear liners – ear liners can be prepped but not put in skin.)
3. Deer Judge at show will determine winner by judging deer as commercial mounts.
(judged from a short distance) If judge views 2 or more deer as equal…Time will determine winner.
4. Entrants must provide all materials, tools and mounting stand necessary to compete.
5. Entry fee is $50 … Winner takes half the money and “ALL” the braggin’ rights.
This contest is pre-register by April 4th.
