Has anyone had any luck developing an artificial UVA / UVB light source to help the final whitening I usually do in the sun on the dash of my truck. At least I can lock it up. I have some experience with life cycle aging of labels and paints at an old job. We used both UVA and UVB bulbs. This could allow me to finish with/without the sun.
Thanks for any info, Steve

If you’re talking about skulls, it is not the sunlight that does it….it is the HEAT.

Yeah, I am trying to whiten skulls. Thanks, I will keep heat in mind. I really thought there was a chemical thing going on with the peroxide and the UV rays of the sun. Oh, well

I don’t use sun or heat. I paint on the peroxide, then rinse it off the next day. Skulls are white.
