Hi all! I have a cow skull that was skinned and left outside. After working with it for a while, I was able to get off an incredible amount of stuck on flesh, however, at the base of the skull, there is still some really stubborn pieces left. I have tried sanding and basically grating it off, which worked well, but there are some places that I just can’t get to. Any ideas on how to remove these last tough pieces?

Soak it in water. I have never tried to rehydrate flesh with that age, but that should work.

Yep stick in above room temp water if possible. It will loosen up in a couple days. I do several a year like that.
