OfflineI breed rats for snake food. One of my adult males has died (RIP Pimp Rat Daddy) and I want to have his skeleton. There was a rat that died before him (adult female, much smaller) and I made sort of a “tomb” for it. I dug a square hole and lined it with bricks and laid the rat in it to rot. After a while I went back and It was decomposed pretty good, I just needed to get the bits of flesh off. So I soaked it in water. This didn’t turn out to well, and I ended up missing a lot of the bones (like the hands and feet). I want to know a better way to do this with the rat that just died. I want the ENTIRE skeleton. I don’t even want to articulate it, I just want the complete skeleton.
What’s a better way to go about this? How do I ensure I get all the bones? Thanks.
