Featured mount on the Insider Forums this week is a green phase colored skin mount of a 50lb + carp ! We posted a couple pictures and provided an explanation of some of the process. Featured mount of the Week for June 21st on the Taxidermy Insider Forum is a Jumping/Fighting Turkey.
Doing a jumping mount presents a number of challenges. Wire attachments points, motion, and stability all have to be incorporated into the mount.
We go in-depth with multiple pictures and a written description of what it takes to set the form up for this type of mount.
