I got this coyote cape (different coyote from the last one I posted about) that I received salted and dried. The guy I got it from didn’t do a good job fleshing it and it has quite a bit of fat on it. The fat is hard like severe freezer burn. I have tried soaking it in a dehydrating bath and, later in a pickle bath for days and this fat does not seem to want to soften up enough to flesh. What else can I try to get this guy to the point where I can shave it without cutting it to pieces (done that already
in a couple spots)?
