I have noticed in yalls articals that your hides are pretty white. mine look good but not that good. i use krowtan2000. i salt my hide for 30 mins before fleshing, then flesh,turn lips,eyes,and nose. then wash with cold water. should i be useing a blood out or something?or change tannig formula?

Submerge your cape in a saltwater bath for a couple of hours then squeeze out & rinse in cold water & squeeze out prior to putting in the Krowtan. At my shop we power wash deer capes using the rotating tip to remove excess meat, blood, etc. then squeeze out excess water, drip dry for a couple of hours, shave face, turn lips, ears, eyes, nose. Put in the Krowtan Whitetail formula. Produces very white capes. 2 of us can handle 20 capes per day this way. You probably could use some form of this application with the TT-581. Good Luck…
