This one is an old timer, use it when you need to touch up small skins.

Keith,

Any idea where a guy could find one of those wheels? Is it solid rubber with glue and grit? Thanks

Actually it’s wood, with grit glued on. One like this isn’t going to be real common, most were replaced with belt or drums and these were scrapped. you looking for a whole machine or just a wheel?

I was looking for the wheel but if its wood I could make it. Made a 12″x20″ metal drum just haven’t decided if I would use it or not. Sure enjoyed those video’s. I’m a one man show so most of that equipment is out of my league but cool to see what other guys are doing. Thanks

Not sure how well glue would stick to the metal, remember at times it needs to be removed to glue on new grit. If your surface is flat and you are not using a padded roller for your pressure you will have problems with folding and cutting while buffing, doesn’t need to be as extreme as the one I have but a radius will help. If you have a wood lathe it would be simple to make. Glad you like the video’s. Smile

Keith, I was wondering what size of wheel that overshot buffer was?

Thanks
