OfflineIt only takes one second for your life to change forever. It could result from a hunting accident, car crash on the interstate, or being diagnosed with a life threatening illness.
In 2000, I granted a hunting wish to a man named Mike Griffey who was critical with pancreatic cancer…..I didn’t know then, but his hunt would later change my life forever.
I founded United Special Sportsman (USSA) shortly after Michael’s hunt, and our charity thus far has granted over 9,100 free hunting and fishing wishes in 43 states and Africa.
USSA is composed of a 100% volunteer staff from all walks of life, bonded together by a common love for our fellow mankind and a deep respect and appreciation of our world’s natural resources.
We have no paid employees and operate solely on donations, a lot of which are in honor of a loved one who passed away. All our hunting and fishing trips and taxidermy work are donated by very caring people such as you.
You can help our cause by donating a mount for someone battling a severe disability or life threatening illness. Even though many of us are experiencing tough economic times; what these people endure may cost them a lifetime of suffering or even death. By donating a mount you will bring a smile and everlasting memories to that special person and family. God bless.

Brigid welcome to Taxidermy talk. For anyone who has never met Brigid, she is a ball of fire and very passionate about these kids and her volunteers who make this all happen through the USSA. Please contact her or myself if you are interested in donating a mount.
A donated mount consist of a closed mouth shoulder mount, Head Quarters Supply and McKenzie Sports Products are both on board and will donate the shoulder form, eyes and ear liners.

People have so many different tanning preferences; so you will receive the skin either frozen or prepped and salted, depending on where it comes from and the taxidermist will be responsible for the tanning.
