I need a quail for a bobcat mount, anyone have one they would be willing to sell or know where I could get one? My client wants a quail in the mouth of the cat in a walking pose. I figure it would be better than trying to mount one. Thanks

I raise bobwhite quail and have a few left in the freezer. They are mostly hens, but maybe a rooster in the bunch. My flock is molting right now, so I’m limited on birds at the moment. I can do you one up for $100 shipped. It will be a conventional mount, not a freeze dried one. Included is an example of the pose. Also, when mounting a cat or fox, don’t use a jawset when adding a quail to the mouth. It will only hinder the installment of the bird, plus is wasted time on something not seen. The quial will have a wrapped body in it that you can depress for a good fit. Thank, PY
